Mitcheners on the tramp

I took this video last night around 7:30. Trying to get them completely worn out before bed. As you can see Leah has tremendous balance for a 14 month old. She is also as crazy as her brother and sister and loves to be popped all over the trampoline.
I added some comment bubbles but looks like they didn't make it on the screen and I don't care enought to fix them. But I will warn you that I tell the kids to "Be Careful!" at least a hundred times. I'm a mom and that's what we do.

Grace reads to Isaac's class.

Grace has been doing a great job with her reading. I am so proud of her progress and amazed at how quickly she has picked up this skill. She has been working hard on a book "Bathtime for Biscuit." I asked her teacher and Isaac's teacher if she could read it to Isaac's class and they thought it would be a great idea. Today was the big day and she nailed it. I was so proud. Listen carefully as she is speaking softly...and there is also Leah chatter to contend with.

Over the last month...

So I think the reality is that I will post once a month. Not my first choice, but better than nothing. So here is a recap of photos over the last four weeks. For Valentine's Day we made heart shaped pizza's. Making pizza is one of our favorite activities and even more fun when a geometric shape, other than the traditional circle and sometimes square, is involved. Leah ate more than anyone.
Oh- and I must also apologize that the pictures are out of order but not worth my time to correct. Anyway, this picture was taken on Saturday, March 12th. These are Leah's pink little toenails. I was sitting on my bathroom floor attempting to paint my own toenails when Leah decided it was her turn. She sat right down between my legs and stuck her little feet in the air and grunted a couple of times. She sat very still and it took all of twenty seconds to color those tootsies. She was very proud.

This was also taken on Saturday. Yet another member of the Mitchener family drives the jeep. Well we didn't actually let Leah drive, just sit in the driver's seat and change the radio stations. That is more than her daddy gets to do.

March 6th, 2011. Happy Birthday NANA!

Taken one Saturday night in February. Movie night! Leah got to join in on movie night for the very first time. We rented How to Train Your Dragon and it was by far the best movie we have every seen. Highly recommended.

100 days of Kindergarten! On Feb 22nd Grace's class celebrated their 100th day of Kindergarten. It was such a fun celebration. All of the kids wore 100 "somethings." Grace had 100 tattoos. (That was fun for me to do the morning of.) At school they wore special hats and let 100 balloons off into the air for sea animals to swallow later. They had 100 munchkin donuts for snack and all of us moms brought in a special lunch full of "100's."
