Grace and Isaac's Christmas Social

On Thursday Grace and Isaac hosted their first Christmas Social. It was a blast! We had a specified cookie decorating area where cookies were smeared with red and green frosting and heaped with candy sprinkles. There were candy canes, french fries, chicken nuggets, chex mix, fruit, popcorn, juice boxes and more! (The moms had our own table of favorites including some champagne :-)) After decorating and eating cookies the kids moved onto the wreath making table. Sid and I tied together real miniature wreaths the night before. The kids sprayed their wreaths with snow and then decorated them with tiny presents, pine cones, bows, lights, and bulbs. They were adorable and I will post a picture of Grace's next blog. We had 7 moms and about 13 kids. The party went well into the night (7:30pm). All children were thoroughly exhausted and fussy by the time they left- mission accomplished. Again, I am reminded how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends.
Isaac with his reindeer- pre-party. Notice- he is still clean.
Towards the end of the party- we tried to get a group picture. Yes- we are crazy.

Bella- drinking some sparkling apple juice!
